Ohio University's first undergraduate research conference on diversity.

The Ohio University Office for Diversity, Access and Equity invites undergraduate students from all Ohio University campuses to submit work to be presented at the conference.  Submissions may come from all disciplines and may include essays, seminar and research papers, and creative work, such as poetry, drama, fiction, dance, performance, students activism and film.  Group presentations are also encouraged.  The deadline for abstract or proposal submission is Friday, January 15, 2010.

This conference is an opportunity for students to share their approaches to understanding issues related to diversity, multiculturalism and identity.  We encourage submissions from all disciplines that focus on race, class, religion, sexuality, ability, age, nationality and gender.  

The conference will be held May 7-8, 2010.  Housing will be provided at Ohio University, Athens Campus Residence Halls.  Food and transportation are FREE.
