Graduate Appointments The office of Graduate Appointments at McKee House coordinates, prepares and processes graduate student appointments with information supplied by departments, schools, colleges or administrative offices. Appointments types vary between Research Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships, Staff Appointments and Graduate Assistantships. Contact the individual school or department directly for details on their available assistantships and scholarships, then view the financial assistance page for information on how to apply. While most appointments are department and school-based, there are some opportunities at non-degree granting units as well. Graduate Assistantships may provide a stipend for services as prescribed by the individual school, department or office and generally require a course load of 12 graduate credits per quarter. Assistantships usually include a tuition scholarship for the length of the contract. Stipends vary by unit area.
