Ohio University offers a distinctiveness in graduate education through programs focused at the advanced graduate level and creative approaches to master's education. The university confers master's degrees in nearly all major academic divisions and doctoral degrees in selected departments.

The Graduate College serves as the admissions office for all graduate students on all Ohio University campuses.

The Graduate College reviews graduate applications, receives application fees, transcripts, enters graduate student information into the Student Information System (SIS), and coordinates distribution of application forms and information including the Graduate Catalog.
