GRADUATE ADMISSIONS
Ohio University offers a number of graduate programs for students who have completed an undergraduate/bachelor's degree equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree at an accredited institution. Click here for information on graduate study for international applicants.
UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS
You are considered an undergraduate applicant if you have completed:
- secondary school only or
- some university work, but have not earned a degree.
Visit the Office of Admissions for international undergraduate admission requirements and application procedures.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
If you wish to study English as a Second Language (ESL), visit our Ohio Program of Intensive English (OPIE) for application information. (Note: admission to OPIE does not guarantee admission to a degree program. A separate application is required for degree study. Please refer to the links above.)
DISTANCE LEARNING
Ohio University offers a Bachelor's of Specialized Studies through distance education. Students may also take courses via distance education without completing a degree. Visit the Office of Adult Learning Services for additional information.
SUMMER SESSIONS
If you wish to study at Ohio University for the summer months only and do not intend to obtain a a degree, visit our Office of Summer Sessions. (Note: summer sessions run from June through August.)
OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE
If you have completed a U.S. bachelor's degree or its recognized equivalent and are a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident and an Ohio resident, you may apply for our professional degree in Osteopathic Medicine. For further information, visit the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
