Outage affects Blackboard, some Web services
Repairs underway

Blackboard 6 and Blackboard went out of service early Saturday morning and were undergoing repair as of Saturday afternoon. Some authenticated Web services also were affected, including student/parent access to online bills.
OIT staff members are working to repair the problems -- a delayed consequence of a power outage last week.
Estimated repair times for the current outages are as follows:
Blackboard 7 pilot and Shibboleth: afternoon, Saturday, June 28
Blackboard 6: 5:00 am, Sunday, June 29
After these systems come back online, students who were in the midst of taking tests or submitting assignments when the systems went down will need to make arrangements with their instructors to retake or resubmit those items.
