Online Graduation Application

Welcome! Ohio University students may now apply for graduation online. The online application must be submitted by the published graduation application deadlines. This online application interacts live with the Student Information System (SIS) and is typically available 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise published. The online application provides the option for you to pay online via CASHNET Smart Pay or you will be billed for the appropriate charges.

To access the Online Graduation Application feature, you must use your OAK LOGIN (username and password). Please read the helpful hints below about logging on and using this online feature.

Logging On

For problems logging on to the Online Graduation Application with your OAK ID and Password:

  • If you have forgotten or need help changing your OAK password, go to the Support Center, 3rd Floor HDL Center, with photo identification (740/593-1222).
  • You must supply your UNIQUE ID (it's the same as your OAK ID) and be sure to use lowercase letters only: "db123456" not "DB123456."
  • A security system has been installed so that only you, the student, may apply for graduation. This "DCE" security system recognizes only passwords that have been changed during the past 24 months. If you have difficulty logging on, please change your OAK password in a manner that includes some variation from whatever password was used previously.

Additional information about changing your password and e-mail forwarding may be obtained from Communication Network Services (CNS) by going to the following:

Using the Online Application

  • The online application will prompt you and require that you complete all sections of the application before finalizing your application.
  • To finalize your application click "Apply/Update Graduation Application."
  • You will receive an online confirmation page after clicking "Apply/Update Graduation Application." It is recommended that you print and retain this confirmation page for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation page, please log back in and check your application. If you need to make a correction please log back in to this application to make any changes. If you do not receive a confirmation page your application has not been processed.
  • If the program(s) you plan to apply for is not listed on the online application, please exit the application and contact the college student services office for assistance. Once the college has updated your program(s) you may log back in and complete the graduation application.
